BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ An international volunteer network from China and Malaysia has distributed 9,500 humanitarian aid packages to victims of hydrometeorological disasters in Aceh. The assistance targets residents affected by flooding and landslides across several districts and cities in the province.
Aid Reaches 15 Severely Affected RegionsThe humanitarian response is being carried out in collaboration with the Yayasan Pelangi Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Foundation. The organization is working alongside the Peaceland Foundation and Blue Sky Rescue International to ensure efficient distribution of relief supplies to impacted areas.
Foundation Chairman Sa'aduddin (Apa At) said a total of 9,500 packages containing basic food supplies and hygiene items had been prepared. In the initial phase, 500 packages have already been distributed to affected residents.He emphasized that the aid is being delivered to 15 severely impacted districts and cities. Distribution is being conducted in stages to ensure that assistance directly reaches those most in need.

The collaboration between international volunteer groups and local organizations is seen as a significant contribution to humanitarian efforts in Aceh. Coordinated distribution is expected to improve both efficiency and accuracy in delivering aid to affected communities.
Aceh Government Expresses GratitudeAceh Governor H. Muzakir Manaf received a symbolic handover of the aid packages at the Meuligoe Restaurant within the Governor's Office complex. He was accompanied by Regional Secretary M. Nasir, Speaker of the Aceh DPR Zulfadhli, and other government representatives.

"We sincerely thank you for this humanitarian assistance. The volunteers from China and Malaysia have shown great compassion for the situation in Aceh following the hydrometeorological disaster," he said.
He also expressed hope that the assistance would help affected families who lost their homes and livelihoods, while supporting faster recovery efforts."May Allah SWT reward all good deeds. Hopefully, this cooperation and friendship will continue," he added. (IDNC)
