SIGLI | INDATANEWS.COM- The Pidie District Police (Polres Pidie) launched a campaign to distribute Indonesia's Red and White national flags as part of the nationwide commemoration of the country's Independence Month. Pidie Police Chief AKBP Jaka Mulyana, S.I.K., M.I.K., personally led the flag distribution on Thursday, August 6, 2026, handing out flags to motorists at several locations across Pidie Regency.
The initiative forms part of Polres Pidie's efforts to strengthen the spirit of nationalism and reinforce the public's sense of belonging to the nation ahead of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
Accompanied by senior police officers, the police chief met residents directly on the streets, greeted motorists, and presented them with Indonesia's Red and White national flag. The police presence among the community received a warm welcome from passing drivers.
Many motorists accepted the flags enthusiastically and expressed appreciation for Polres Pidie's initiative, which encourages the public to actively participate in celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day through this symbolic campaign.
