Aceh Tengah Police Chief Leads Security for Public Works Minister’s Visit

ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Teguh Siswoyo, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., personally led security arrangements during the visit of Indonesian Public Works Minister Ir. Dody Hanggodo, M.P.E., to Aceh Tengah Regency on Friday, September 18, 2026.

The security operation was carried out during the minister's visit to the site of a landslide in Sanehen Village, Silih Nara District. In addition to ensuring that the visit proceeded safely and orderly, Aceh Tengah Police assisted the government delegation in obtaining a direct assessment of conditions in the disaster-affected area.

The visit by the Public Works Minister was part of the government's efforts to directly assess the condition of the terrain, soil, residential areas and damaged infrastructure at the site. The findings from the inspection are expected to serve as one of the bases for determining further measures to address the impact of the disaster.

Aceh Tengah Police deployed personnel to secure the minister's entire agenda, from the arrival of the Public Works Minister and his delegation until the conclusion of the visit. Police Chief Personally Leads Security Operation

Minister Dody Hanggodo arrived at the landslide area at approximately 11:05 a.m. local time. Upon arriving in Sanehen Village, the minister immediately inspected the soil conditions and surroundings of residential areas affected by the disaster.

Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Teguh Siswoyo personally led the security operation throughout the visit. Police personnel coordinated with relevant agencies to ensure the safety of the minister, his delegation, government representatives and residents around the disaster site.

After inspecting the landslide area in Sanehen Village, Minister Dody Hanggodo and his delegation continued their visit to the Bur Oregon Water Supply Facility in Jongok Bathin Village, Kebayakan District, Aceh Tengah Regency.

The agenda was part of the Public Works Minister's broader visit to Aceh Tengah before the delegation continued its journey to Bener Meriah Regency.
