Four Deli Serdang Swimmers Ready for Malaysia International Meet

DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM Four promising young swimmers from Deli Serdang are set to represent their region on the international stage as they prepare to compete in the prestigious 3rd Milo-KL Klasik Invitational 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The athletes will face rising talents from various countries in one of the region's notable youth swimming competitions.

Deli Serdang Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan personally bid farewell to the athletes during an official ceremony held in the second-floor meeting room of the Deli Serdang Government Office on Friday, May 22, 2026. The farewell fulfilled a previous commitment made during the "Millennial Swimming Goes To Malaysia" program in April.

As part of his support, the Regent provided each athlete with a financial incentive of IDR 2.5 million, along with training suits and complete swimming gear to support their performance at the international event.

Four Rising Talents Head to Kuala Lumpur

The selected swimmers representing Deli Serdang are Muhammad Daffa, Sarah Emmanuella, Andini, and Azka Fauzi. The delegation is scheduled to depart on May 29, 2026, while the competition will take place from May 30 to June 1, 2026, at the National Aquatic Centre, Kuala Lumpur Sports City.
