The mayor made the remarks during the closing ceremony of the "Padel for All" tournament at 59 Padel Hub on Jalan Mangonsidi, Medan, on Sunday evening, July 12, 2026. On the occasion, Rico Waas also presented awards to the tournament champions.The three-day competition, held from July 10 to July 12, 2026, was one of the events commemorating the 436th Anniversary of Medan City. The tournament received an enthusiastic response from the public and became a gathering point for padel enthusiasts from various age groups and social backgrounds.
