DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM - The Alwasliyah Scout Community Unit (SAKO) of North Sumatra has been appointed as a speaker in the series of activities at the XI North Sumatra Regional Scout Jamboree 2026. The trust was given to the organization due to its experience, competence, and concrete contributions to the development of the Scout movement in North Sumatra.
The participation of SAKO Alwasliyah North Sumatra in the five-yearly Jamboree is part of efforts to strengthen the education and development of Penggalang-level Scout members from various regions across North Sumatra. Through presentations and discussion sessions, representatives of SAKO Alwasliyah delivered various topics related to the organization's fields of expertise, including applied Scout techniques, character building, social involvement, and an understanding of the main duties of a Community Unit within the Scout movement in North Sumatra.Through interactive learning sessions, participants gained new insights and knowledge. In addition to practical guidance, Penggalang Scouts also had the opportunity to exchange experiences directly with trainers and members of SAKO Alwasliyah who possess extensive knowledge and experience in Scouting.

Chairman of SAKO Alwasliyah North Sumatra, AKBP (Ret.) Zainal Abidin, SH, MH, stated that his organization remains committed to sharing knowledge and strengthening cooperation with all elements of the Scout movement in North Sumatra.
"The great trust given by the organizing committee of the XI North Sumatra Regional Scout Jamboree 2026 to us as presenters is an honor and also a responsibility for the entire SAKO Alwasliyah North Sumatra family. We see this as recognition of our role in fostering a young generation that is faithful, has strong character, and is beneficial to society. The materials we provide focus on strengthening the fundamental Scout values based on Tri Satya and Dasa Darma, while also being adapted to the theme of the Jamboree, namely developing personalities who are polite, active, inspiring, and adaptable to changes in time and technology. We share experiences, practical skills, and knowledge that are characteristic of education within the Alwasliyah environment so that they can become a valuable foundation for thousands of participants from across North Sumatra," said Zainal Abidin.According to Zainal Abidin, the materials delivered were not only aimed at improving Scout skills but also at developing leadership qualities, social responsibility, and the character of young people who are able to make positive contributions to their communities.
He also expressed hope that the event would broaden the horizons of Scout members, strengthen the spirit of togetherness, and support the main objective of the Jamboree, which is to create a resilient and integrity-driven young generation.
Zainal Abidin added that the collaboration between SAKO Alwasliyah North Sumatra, the North Sumatra Regional Scout Council (Kwarda), the organizing committee, and various other stakeholders is an important step toward improving the quality of Scout development.
