The Deli Serdang government reaffirmed its commitment as Royal Botanica Park received the Greenship Neighbourhood Plan V.1.0 Gold Certification.

Deli Serdang Regent, Asri Ludin Tambunan, expressed at the Greenship certification ceremony on Saturday (Feb 21, 2026) at the Mahogany Ballroom, 2nd Floor, Grand City Hall, Medan.

Royal Botanica Park, part of the Royal Sumatera project developed by PT Majaindo Citra Swakarsa, serves as a benchmark for sustainable housing projects across Deli Serdang and North Sumatra.

Standards for Sustainable Residential Areas
Ignesjz Kemalawarta, Chairman of the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), explained that the Greenship Neighbourhood is a rating system assessing entire neighborhoods-not just individual buildings-on sustainability criteria.This approach integrates environmental, social, mobility, productivity, risk management, and waste management aspects.
Drs. Tarman Hartono MM, CEO of PT Majaindo Citra Swakarsa, highlighted that the certification confirms the company's commitment to environmental preservation."This award is not only a symbol but a proof of our dedication to environmentally conscious construction. Sustainability is a shared responsibility for future generations."
Royal Sumatera Development Covers 36 Hectares in Deli SerdangTarman detailed that the Royal Sumatera site spans around 300 hectares, with Royal Botanica Park in Deli Serdang covering approximately 36 hectares. On 10 hectares, 200 of the planned 800 housing units have already been built.
