PIDIE | INDATANEWS.COM – The Police of Pidie, led by AKBP Jaka Mulyana, distributed humanitarian relief assistance to residents affected by a tornado that struck Sigli District on Thursday (May 21, 2026).
The aid distribution took place in Lampoh Krueng Village and was attended by senior police officials, including the Head of Logistics of Pidie Police, Kompol Pitriadi, the Chief of Sigli Police Sector, AKP Junaidi Akbar, and Deputy Chief Iptu Hermansyah. The operation was also supported by personnel from both Pidie Police and Sigli Police Sector.Local village leaders and administrative officials were present, including Geuchik Alaudin of Lampoh Krueng and Geuchik Hj. Yusri of Gampong Meunasah Peukan, alongside families of the aid recipients.

The assistance was provided following a severe tornado that hit parts of Sigli District on Wednesday (May 20, 2026), causing significant damage to homes and livelihoods. The relief targeted residents who directly suffered from the natural disaster's impact.
