ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Aceh Tengah Police (Polres Aceh Tengah) are reinforcing their humanitarian engagement with the community through the "Saweu Pesantren" program and visits to Islamic religious leaders.
The activity was held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Pesantren Al-Fatah Ummul Quro in Pepalang Village, Pegasing District, Aceh Tengah Regency.

The program, which began at 10:00 a.m. local time, was directly led by Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, accompanied by senior officers and personnel. The visit highlighted the police commitment to strengthening relations with Islamic educational institutions.

During the visit, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq symbolically handed over social assistance packages containing basic food supplies as well as copies of the Qur'an to the pesantren management. The aid is intended to support the daily needs and education of the students (santri).

In addition to material assistance, the police also provided free medical services. The Health and Medical Unit (Dokkes) of Polres Aceh Tengah organized on-site health checks and treatment for santri and local residents.
The initiative received an enthusiastic response from the community, reflecting the police's broader approach that combines social care with public health services.

The "Saweu Pesantren" program also served as a platform to strengthen collaboration between the police and religious leaders, including Ustadz Muhammad Musa, as well as the students of Pesantren Al-Fatah Ummul Quro.
AKBP Muhamad Taufiq emphasized that the initiative aims to enhance dialogue with religious figures and maintain a stable and conducive security environment in Aceh Tengah.
