RESPONDING TO CITIZENS’ COMPLAINTS: Barelang Police personnel follow up on residents’ reports of loud music disturbing public order at Cahaya Garden Housing, Bengkong, on Tuesday night.

BATAM | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Polresta Barelang swiftly responded to a citizen's complaint about loud music disrupting public order in the Bengkong jurisdiction, Batam, Riau Islands (Kepri). On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11:50 PM, police units immediately deployed to the scene.

The standby officers of Polresta Barelang arrived at the location to ensure safety and maintain order. The operation was led by Ps. Kapolsek Bengkong, Iptu Yuli Endra. The report was filed by local resident Indra.

A combined team from Pamapta, SPKT, Pawas, patrol units, and the Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of Polresta Barelang went to Cahaya Garden residential area, Kelurahan Sadai, Bengkong District, directly in front of the Ruko Bakso Barcelona. This prompt action demonstrates the police's commitment to responding quickly to citizen complaints via emergency number 110.

Verification and Community Engagement

The officers on site included Ipda Tamsir (Pamapta RU III Polresta Barelang), Briptu Alfian, Bripka Astra, Aipda Maliki, Bripka Ibnu, Aiptu Komang, and Briptu Suprinaldi. They assessed the situation and coordinated measures regarding the loud music complaint.

The inspection confirmed the music was indeed loud. Officers politely instructed those responsible to lower the volume to maintain neighborhood order. Following this persuasive approach, the music was reduced, restoring a safe and orderly environment.
