JAMBI | INDATANEWS.COM - The Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi) has strengthened security cooperation for the upstream oil and gas (Migas) sector with the Sumbagsel Regional Office of SKK Migas and PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. The initiative aims to maintain security stability and ensure that operational activities within this strategically important national sector in Jambi Province can be carried out safely, smoothly, and sustainably.
The strengthening of this cooperation was initiated through an official meeting between the leadership of SKK Migas Sumbagsel and PetroChina International Jabung Ltd with Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Krisno Halomoan Siregar on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Jambi Police Chief's office.The meeting was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, serving as an important moment to deepen coordination between Polda Jambi and stakeholders in the energy sector, particularly within the upstream oil and gas industry, which is categorized as a national strategic object.
The meeting was attended by, among others, Jambi Police Director of Special Criminal Investigation Police Chief Commissioner Taufik Nurmandia, Head of SKK Migas Sumbagsel Regional Office Bambang Dwi Djanuarto, Coordinator of Formalities and Communication at SKK Migas Sumbagsel Kurnia Ariwijayanti, and Operations Analyst of SKK Migas Sumbagsel Kurnia Try Meliana.Also present were PetroChina International Jabung Ltd Vice President Operations Khostarosa Andhika Jaya, PetroChina International Jabung Ltd Vice President Business Support Alfiani, and PetroChina International Jabung Ltd CSR Superintendent Andrian Wibisono.
