ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - The Aceh Tengah Police continue to strengthen efforts to maintain security and public order by carrying out the "Patroli Perintis Presisi Kota" (Precision Pioneer City Patrol) initiative. This preventive activity targets various centers of public activity as well as locations considered vulnerable to potential disruptions of security and public order (Kamtibmas). The program aims to create a safe, comfortable, and stable environment for the community.
The Samapta Unit of the Aceh Tengah Police conducted a routine patrol on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, starting at 11:30 a.m. WIB. The operation involved four police officers using an Isuzu D-Max patrol vehicle to monitor several strategic locations that had been designated as patrol targets.
The officers visited several areas with high levels of public activity, including the BSI Bank branch, SPBU Nunang Antara fuel station, Sengeda Street, Gayo Petro Hotel, and Paya Ilang Bus Terminal. The presence of police personnel at these locations was aimed at ensuring security conditions while providing a sense of safety for residents carrying out their daily activities.
In addition to monitoring regional security conditions, personnel from the Samapta Unit of the Aceh Tengah Police also carried out dialog-based patrols with members of the public. Officers directly interacted with residents and young people to deliver messages regarding the importance of maintaining security and public order.
During these interactions, police personnel encouraged the community to actively participate in maintaining safety within their respective environments and to avoid activities that could potentially trigger disturbances. Officers also reminded residents not to engage in actions that could endanger themselves or others.
Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, S.I.K., M.H., through the Head of the Samapta Unit Iptu Misbah, stated that the "Patroli Perintis Presisi" program represents a preventive strategy implemented by the Indonesian National Police to prevent crime while increasing the presence of police officers among the community.
"The presence of our officers in the field is a concrete expression of the police commitment to providing protection, guidance, and services to the public. We want to ensure that people can carry out their daily activities safely and comfortably, while potential disturbances to public order can be identified at an early stage," he said.
According to Iptu Misbah, direct police presence within the community is an important element in building public trust. Through regular patrol activities, residents can feel the presence of security personnel who are always ready to provide assistance and respond to various situations on the ground.
Iptu Misbah explained that the Aceh Tengah Police will continue to intensify patrol activities at strategic locations, particularly areas with high mobility and significant public activity. These measures are designed to create a stronger sense of security while reducing opportunities for individuals who may intend to commit criminal acts.
The "Patroli Perintis Presisi" program does not only focus on preventing security disturbances but also serves as a communication channel between the police and the community. Through this dialog-based approach, officers can obtain information regarding current conditions and security concerns developing within society.
During the patrol operation, all monitored locations were found to be safe and orderly. Officers did not identify any security disturbances or significant obstacles throughout the activity.
The patrol proceeded in an orderly and smooth manner until completion. This situation demonstrates that cooperation between security forces and the community plays an important role in maintaining regional stability in Aceh Tengah.
