DELI SEDANG | INDATANEWS.COM ~ SDN 105399 Kulasar, a public elementary school under UPT SPF in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, has officially cancelled its planned out-of-school educational activity scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

The excursion, which was organized in collaboration with Tiara Indah Travel, was set to include visits to several educational and recreational destinations.

Exam Preparation Takes Priority

School principal Rubiah confirmed in an official letter dated April 7, 2026, that the decision was made due to the tight schedule ahead of upcoming student examinations. The school emphasized that academic preparation is currently the top priority to ensure students can focus fully on their exams without additional pressure.

"The academic preparations take precedence so that students are optimally ready for their examinations," the school statement noted.

Planned Educational Destinations

The cancelled educational trip was originally designed as a practical learning experience outside the classroom. Planned destinations included the North Sumatra State Museum, the Deli Serdang Regional Library, the Deli Serdang Local Museum, and a swimming facility in the Deli Serdang area.

The program was intended to enrich students' learning through direct observation and hands-on educational exposure.

Refund Process for Parents

The school has also requested parents of students who have already paid IDR145,000 for the activity to immediately coordinate with their respective homeroom teachers. Refunds will be processed or further administrative clarification will be provided through the school. (IDNC)
