"We are among the regions with the highest share of electricity consumption from renewable energy, at 46 percent. This includes hydropower, steam-based power generation, geothermal energy, biomass and other sources. We will continue to promote the use of environmentally friendly energy," Yosi said.According to Yosi, the 46 percent share comprises electricity generated from various renewable energy sources. These include hydropower plants, steam-based power plants, geothermal facilities, biomass and other environmentally friendly energy sources.
