ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - The Aceh Tengah Police Precinct (Polres Aceh Tengah) has once again demonstrated its social commitment to the community. Through the "Jumat Berkah" (Blessed Friday) program, police officers distributed basic food packages and social assistance to residents in need. A total of 20 food packages were handed over on Thursday, July 9, 2026, to 20 heads of families in Kampung Lelumu, Pegasing District, Aceh Tengah Regency.
The activity is part of the Aceh Tengah Police's commitment to strengthening the presence of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) among the community. In addition to carrying out its main duties in maintaining security and public order, the police continue to implement social programs that provide direct benefits to residents."Polri is not only present as a protector, guide, and public service provider in maintaining security and order, but also carries a social responsibility to share and strengthen compassion among one another. We hope this assistance can provide benefits and encourage the community," the police chief said through Head of Planning Division (Kabag Ren) Kompol Junaidi, S.H., M.S.M.
The Aceh Tengah Police handed over the assistance packages directly through Kompol Junaidi, who represented the police chief. The distribution was attended by several senior officials from the Aceh Tengah Police, the Deputy Head of Pegasing Police Sector along with personnel, representatives from the Kampung Lelumu village administration, Bhabinkamtibmas officers, Babinsa personnel, and local community leaders.The Aceh Tengah Police personnel not only provided basic necessities but also
strengthened direct communication with residents. The officers used the opportunity to engage in conversations, maintain relationships, and gain firsthand insight into the living conditions and needs of the community.The warm interactions reflected Polri's efforts to strengthen the relationship between the police and residents.
