ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM- The Aceh Tengah Police have once again demonstrated their social commitment to the community. Through the "Jumat Berkah" program, the police distributed 40 packages of basic food supplies to underprivileged residents in Tawardi Village, Kute Panang District, Aceh Tengah Regency, on Friday, July 17, 2026.
The social assistance activity reflects the commitment of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to supporting the community while strengthening the relationship between police officers and citizens. The distribution of food packages took place in a simple yet warm atmosphere, involving representatives from the district administration, village officials, police personnel, and the beneficiaries.The social program organized by the Aceh Tengah Police was led by the Head of Kute Panang Police Station, Iptu Kamaruddinsyah, S.H., who represented the Aceh Tengah Police Chief, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, S.I.K., M.H. The event was also attended by officials from the Kute Panang District Administration, personnel from the Aceh Tengah Police and Kute Panang Police Station, the Tawardi Village Head, village representatives, and residents receiving assistance.
The presence of police officers during the social activity was warmly welcomed by residents of Tawardi Village. In addition to providing direct assistance, the Jumat Berkah program also served as a way to strengthen the connection between Polri and the community through tangible social actions.
Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, S.I.K., M.H., through the Head of Public Relations of Aceh Tengah Police, AKP Rasimin, stated that the Jumat Berkah program is part of the police's ongoing commitment to providing benefits and assistance to the community.According to him, the duties of the police are not limited to maintaining security and public order but also include social responsibility toward citizens who need support.
"Through the Jumat Berkah program, we hope that the assistance provided can reduce the burden on the community and bring benefits to families in need," he said.The distribution of food packages also reflects the spirit of mutual assistance and social solidarity that continues to be developed within the Aceh Tengah Police. The police not only carry out duties in security and public services but also play an active role in supporting the welfare of the community.
