MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM – PT Jasa Rahayu Gumpueng (JRG) has taken legal action following the Commercial Court of Medan's decision in case No. 19/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2025/PN Niaga Mdn, which declared the company in a debt restructuring and insolvency status.
The company has officially filed a cassation appeal to the Supreme Court of Indonesia and lodged a criminal complaint with the Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri).
Cassation Filed to Supreme Court
JRG's legal team firmly rejected the Commercial Court's ruling, arguing that the decision was based on disputed documents whose authenticity and content are currently under question.According to the company's attorneys, JRG has never signed a loan and payment agreement dated September 5, 2024, which is central to the court's consideration.
"These documents do not reflect the actual circumstances of the case," the legal representatives stated. The defense further highlighted several inconsistencies in the alleged agreement, including an unusually short repayment period and excessively high daily penalties, which they claim are not in line with standard business practices.

During the ongoing legal dispute, JRG stated that it has already made payments totaling approximately IDR 12.1 billion. The amount includes a bank check worth IDR 5.8 billion and a series of transfers totaling IDR 6.3 billion, all of which are supported by banking records.
Alongside the cassation filing, the company has reported the case to Bareskrim Polri on suspicion of the use of inaccurately represented documents. JRG said the move aims to ensure that all legal processes are properly examined and verified.Business Operations Continue
JRG also criticized actions taken by the court-appointed insolvency administrator and urged all involved parties to take into account the ongoing cassation process at the Supreme Court.Despite the legal dispute, the company confirmed that its business operations continue as normal while awaiting a final and binding court decision.
