Barelang Police Quickly Respond to Sagulung Disturbance Report

QUICK RESPONSE TO DISTURBANCE REPORT: Police officers from Barelang Police respond swiftly to a 110 emergency call and head to the scene at Ruko Cipta Grand City, Sagulung, Batam, to stabilize the situation.

BATAM | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Barelang Police, through its patrol units, Pamapta I Integrated Protection and Service personnel, and the on-duty SPKT officers, responded swiftly to a public complaint received via the 110 emergency hotline regarding a suspected disturbance in the Sagulung Police jurisdiction, Batam.

Rapid Response via Emergency Call 110

Upon receiving the report, Barelang Police immediately deployed personnel to the reported location. The operation was led by Pamapta I officer Second Inspector (IPDA) F. Leonardo Manurung, together with SPKT officers Aipda M. Sagala and Bripka Wahyudi Karya Siregar. The team moved quickly to verify the situation and bring it under control.

On-Site Assessment at Ruko Cipta Grand City

Officers arrived at the scene located in the Ruko Cipta Grand City area, Sagulung District, Batam City, Riau Islands Province. A resident identified as Hasibuan had previously reported a noise disturbance that disrupted the neighborhood in the early hours. The report was promptly followed up with an on-site inspection.

Humanistic De-escalation Ensures Order

At the location, officers found a group of youths gathered, potentially disturbing public order. Using a calm and humanistic approach, the police instructed them to disperse peacefully and return to their homes.

No injuries or property damage were reported. Authorities also confirmed that no criminal activity was identified during the investigation. The situation was quickly brought under control without further escalation.
