JAMBI | INDATANEWS.COM - Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Krisno H. Siregar led a ceremony on Thursday, September 10, 2026, marking the official handover of duties for five senior positions within the Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi).
The positions involved were the Head of the Professional and Disciplinary Division (Kabid Propam), the Head of the Finance Division (Kabid Keu), the Batang Hari Police Chief, the West Tanjab Police Chief, and the Kerinci Police Chief.
The ceremony was held in the fourth-floor hall of the main building of the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters. Among those attending were Jambi Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General K. Yani Sudarto, senior officials of the Jambi Regional Police, district police chiefs, Jambi Regional Police personnel, and other ceremony participants.
The leadership changes within the Jambi Regional Police are part of the organizational dynamics of the Indonesian National Police (Polri). Through the new assignments, the appointed officials are expected to assume their responsibilities as quickly as possible and make their best contribution to the organization and the community.
As part of the handover ceremony, Police Commissioner Darno transferred his duties as Head of the Professional and Disciplinary Division of the Jambi Regional Police to Police Commissioner Robert Antoni Sormin. The change marks the beginning of the new official's responsibility for overseeing the professional development, supervision, and discipline of police personnel within the jurisdiction of the Jambi Regional Police.
The position of Head of the Finance Division of the Jambi Regional Police is now held by Police Commissioner Aan Hardiansyah. The position was previously held by Police Commissioner Erwin Ferdiansyah Tossin, who formally handed over his responsibilities to his successor during the ceremony.
Leadership changes also took place at the district level. Police Commissioner Arya Tesa Brahmana handed over his position as Batang Hari Police Chief to Police Commissioner Doni Aryanto. Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Maulia Kuswicaksono transferred the position of West Tanjab Police Chief to Police Commissioner Ramadhanil.
At the Kerinci Police Headquarters, Police Commissioner Ramadhanil subsequently handed over the position to Police Commissioner Hernawan Rizky Yudhantoro. The handover therefore involved two key leadership positions within the Jambi Regional Police and three district-level police chief positions.
The personnel changes also bring a new leadership structure to several police jurisdictions under the Jambi Regional Police. The newly appointed officials are responsible for continuing existing programs while improving organizational performance in accordance with the needs and challenges of their respective areas of responsibility.
The ceremony began with a formal salute to the presiding officer, followed by a report from the ceremony commander. The organizing committee then read the decision of the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), which served as the legal basis for the leadership changes.
The ceremony continued with the removal and placement of rank insignia and official position insignia. For the newly appointed district police chiefs, the proceedings also included the handover and placement of the command baton.
The newly appointed officials subsequently took their oaths of office. This was followed by the signing of the official handover and oath-taking documents, as well as integrity declarations, fulfilling administrative requirements and reaffirming their commitment to carrying out their responsibilities conscientiously.
The entire ceremony proceeded in a solemn and dignified atmosphere. After the event concluded, those in attendance congratulated the officers who had officially assumed their new positions.
The newly appointed leaders now face the task of adapting quickly to their respective work environments. In addition to carrying out their core responsibilities, they are expected to continue existing programs and continuously improve the quality of police services provided to the public.
Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Krisno H. Siregar, through Jambi Regional Police Public Relations Head Police Commissioner Erlan Munaji, said that transfers and official handovers are part of the organizational dynamics of the Indonesian National Police. The changes are intended to support organizational renewal, officers' professional development, and improvements in performance and public services.
"The Jambi Police Chief has instructed all newly appointed leaders to immediately adapt to their respective work environments, continue ongoing programs, and improve the quality of services and police presence within the community," Police Commissioner Erlan said.
The message underscores that the new leaders are not expected merely to carry out routine duties. They are also expected to respond to the concrete needs of residents within their respective jurisdictions. Police presence in the community is an important element in building public trust in the National Police.
Police Commissioner Erlan said the newly appointed leaders must carry out their responsibilities with full accountability. At the same time, integrity and professionalism must be maintained in every aspect of their duties.
"The Jambi Police Chief also expressed his appreciation to the outgoing officials for their dedication and service during their tenure with the Jambi Regional Police. The new officials are expected to make their best contribution and bring renewed enthusiasm and innovation to the execution of their duties," he said.
The leadership changes are not intended merely to alter the organizational structure, but also to serve as an impetus for strengthening institutional performance. The new leaders are expected to continue the progress achieved by their predecessors while developing new solutions and innovations in response to existing challenges.
The Jambi Regional Police also emphasized the importance of internal cohesion in carrying out police duties. Cooperation among leaders, officers, and all organizational units serves as an important foundation for maintaining security and public order while improving the quality of public services.
With the completion of the handover ceremony, five new leaders have officially assumed responsibility for their respective positions. The Jambi Police Chief expects all newly appointed officials to carry out their duties professionally, maintain public trust, and further strengthen the police presence among the people of Jambi.
