SWEARING IN CEREMONY: Deli Serdang Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan officially appoints 20 government officials at Cendana Hall on June 3, 2026, strengthening the regional administrative structure.

DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM Deli Serdang Regent, Asri Ludin Tambunan, officially swore in 20 government officials during a ceremony held on Wednesday (June 3, 2026) at the Cendana Hall on the second floor of the regional administration building. The appointments include two high-ranking JPT Pratama officials, three heads of community health centers (Puskesmas), and 15 principals of kindergartens and elementary schools across the regency.

In the ceremony, the regional government assigned two officials to key strategic positions. Anggiat P. Sipayung was appointed Head of the Food Security Agency, while dr. Alfian Zunaidi was named Head of the Office for Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning.

Regent Asri Ludin emphasized that both agencies play a crucial role in implementing national strategic programs at the regional level.

"These two Echelon II officials lead institutions that directly execute national programs. Therefore, their responsibilities extend beyond Deli Serdang and contribute to broader national achievements," he stated.

New Appointments in Health and Education Sectors

In addition to top-level positions, three new heads of community health centers were inaugurated: Puskesmas Tiga Juhar in STM Hulu District, Puskesmas Sibolangit, and Puskesmas Karang Anyar in Beringin District.

Meanwhile, 15 new principals were appointed to lead kindergartens and elementary schools across various areas in Deli Serdang, strengthening the local education system.

Rotation Policy to Improve Governance Performance

The regent explained that rotations and appointments remain part of the regional government's ongoing human resource development strategy. The goal is to enhance institutional performance and ensure more effective public service delivery.

"These appointments are part of organizational development efforts aimed at creating a more effective government and improving services for the community," Asri Ludin said.

Call for Rapid Adaptation and Performance Improvement

Concluding the ceremony, the regent urged all newly appointed officials to quickly adapt to their new responsibilities and improve their performance indicators.

"Improve your performance, enhance public service, and achieve the established targets. A position is a responsibility that must be carried out with results-oriented commitment," he stressed.

The event was also attended by the Chairperson of TP PKK, Jelita Asri Ludin Tambunan, along with other regional leaders. (IDNC)
