ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – A strong spirit of national unity and solidarity marked the commemoration ceremony of Pancasila Day 2026, held by the Government of Aceh Tengah Regency on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Regional Secretariat complex in Aceh Tengah.
Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhammad Taufiq joined the Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) in attending the ceremony, reaffirming a shared commitment to strengthening Pancasila values as the foundation of national and social life.
Pancasila as the Foundation of National Unity
The ceremony was held under the theme: "Pancasila as the Unifier of the Nation, the Foundation of World Peace." Regent of Aceh Tengah, Drs. Haili Yoga, served as the inspector of the ceremony, while AKP Walter Sihotang, S.H., acted as the ceremony officer and Lettu Inf Mukhlis as the parade commander.
The event began at 08:00 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB) in a solemn and orderly atmosphere. Participants included government officials, TNI and Polri personnel, community leaders, SKPK heads, and hundreds of senior high school students from various schools across Aceh Tengah.

Forkopimda Demonstrates Unified National Commitment
A wide range of regional leaders attended the ceremony, including the Deputy Commander of Kodim 0106/Aceh Tengah Mayor Czi Eko Amin Tohari, Head of the Aceh Tengah District Prosecutor's Office Hendri Yanto, Regional Secretary Drs. Mursyid, Chairperson of the Aceh Tengah Regional House of Representatives Fitriana Mugie, and Head of the Takengon District Court Fatria Gunawa. Representatives from the Takengon Syar'iyah Court and the Aceh Tengah MPU also took part.
In his remarks, Regent Haili Yoga emphasized that Pancasila Day is not merely an annual ceremony, but a meaningful moment of reflection and reaffirmation of national values.
"Today we once again stand on sacred ground to commemorate the birth of Pancasila. More than a ceremony, this day is a moment of reflection to ensure that the spirit of Pancasila continues to live within every Indonesian," he stated.

Pancasila as the Nation's Moral Compass
Amid global uncertainty, rapid technological transformation, and shifting geopolitical dynamics, Pancasila remains a moral compass that keeps Indonesia stable in its diversity.
"Indonesia is not merely a spectator on the world stage. In accordance with our Constitution, we are responsible for contributing to a global order based on independence, lasting peace, and social justice," Haili Yoga added.
Aceh Tengah Police Hold Internal Ceremony
As part of the commemoration, the Aceh Tengah Police also conducted an internal ceremony at the Police Headquarters, starting at 07:30 AM WIB, led by Deputy Police Chief Kompol Samsir.
Kasubbagwatpers Iptu T. Marzuki served as ceremony officer, while Ipda Azzahra Wenni Ruhdiara, S.H., acted as parade commander. The ceremony was attended by police leadership, unit commanders, and personnel from various divisions.
Both the internal police ceremony and the district-level ceremony concluded smoothly, safely, and in an orderly manner, ending at 08:15 AM and 09:00 AM WIB respectively. (IDNC)
