SUPPORT FOR TWO NATIONAL PASKIBRAKA CANDIDATES: North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution provides encouragement and support to two outstanding students from North Sumatra selected as candidates for the 2026 National Paskibraka team before their participation in the training camp in Jakarta.

MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM - North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution has extended moral support and encouragement to two outstanding students from North Sumatra who have been selected as candidates for the 2026 National Flag-Raising Team (Paskibraka). Bobby expressed his hope that both students would successfully carry out their important duties and proudly represent North Sumatra during the 81st Anniversary celebration of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

Bobby Nasution conveyed his support when he welcomed the two prospective national Paskibraka members on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the North Sumatra Governor's Office on Jalan Diponegoro No. 30, Medan. The meeting was held shortly before their departure to Jakarta to participate in the national training camp.

The two students who will represent North Sumatra at the national level are Gussa Oliver Nainggolan, a student of SMA Negeri 2 Balige, and Felesia Rismaito Munthe, a student of SMA Unggul DEL. Both attended the meeting accompanied by their parents, who provided support as they prepared to take on this national assignment.

National Selection Achievement Brings Pride to North Sumatra

The achievement of Gussa Oliver Nainggolan and Felesia Rismaito Munthe in passing the national selection process is a source of pride for the North Sumatra Provincial Government. The selection for the national Paskibraka team is highly competitive, as every participant must meet various requirements, including physical fitness, discipline, strong character, national awareness, and leadership abilities.

On the occasion, Bobby expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the two young representatives. He stated that the trust given by the state is a great honor as well as a responsibility that must be fulfilled with full dedication.

In his remarks, Bobby congratulated the two national Paskibraka candidates, whose achievements have brought recognition to North Sumatra at the national level.

He emphasized that the opportunity to become part of the national Paskibraka team is significant not only for the students and their families but also for the entire people of North Sumatra. Therefore, he encouraged both candidates to maintain their spirit and discipline and to give their best throughout all national activities.

According to Bobby, Paskibraka members are not only responsible for raising the Red and White Flag but also represent Indonesia's young generation with strong character, discipline, responsibility, and a deep understanding of national values.

Health Reminder and Hopes for Future Success

In addition to providing motivation, Bobby Nasution reminded the two students to maintain their physical condition and health during the training camp in Jakarta. He stressed that fitness is an important factor to ensure that all training stages can be completed optimally.

Bobby also reminded them that serving as candidates for the national Paskibraka team is a state assignment that requires great responsibility. He encouraged both students to follow all training programs with discipline, maintain proper conduct, and adapt well to the new environment during the quarantine period.

As a form of appreciation for their achievements, Bobby Nasution provided financial assistance of Rp10 million each to Gussa Oliver Nainggolan and Felesia Rismaito Munthe.

The North Sumatra Provincial Government hopes that the support will provide additional motivation and help fulfill the needs of the two students during their quarantine period and national training camp in Jakarta.
