JAMBI | INDATANEWS.COM - The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has carried out a comprehensive rotation and reassignment of several key officials within the Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi) as part of an ongoing organizational restructuring effort.
The personnel changes are outlined in a series of official telegrams issued by the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), numbered ST/1336/VI/KEP./2026, ST/1338/VI/KEP./2026, ST/1339/VI/KEP./2026, ST/1340/VI/KEP./2026, and ST/1341/VI/KEP./2026. The documents were signed on June 26, 2026, by Inspector General of Police Dr. Anwar, Assistant for Human Resources of the National Police.The reshuffle affects both senior leadership positions within Polda Jambi and several district police commands under its jurisdiction. Officials stated that the decision is part of a strategic human resource development program aimed at strengthening institutional performance and adapting to the evolving demands of modern policing.
Within the rotation, the Head of the Human Resources Bureau of Polda Jambi, Kombes Pol. Handoko, S.I.K., M.Si., has been promoted to Assessor for Intermediate Human Resources Affairs Level I at the SSDM Polri.
He is replaced by Kombes Pol. Ricko Abdullah Andang Taruna, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., M.M., who previously served as Assessor for Intermediate Human Resources Affairs Level III at SSDM Polri.This reshuffle reflects Polri's continued efforts to professionalize human resource management and enhance institutional performance through a modernized organizational structure.
The Inspectorate and internal supervision structure also experienced changes. The former Inspector of Polda Jambi, Kombes Pol. Jannus Parlindungan Siregar, S.I.K., M.H., has been reassigned as Irwasda of Polda Papua. His position is now filled by Kombes Pol. Subandi, S.I.K., M.H., previously serving at Polda West Papua.
In the health services sector, AKBP dr. Alfons Silawa, M.Si., who previously served in an acting capacity as Head of the Health Division (Kabid Dokkes), has been officially appointed as Kabid Dokkes Polda Jambi. This appointment is expected to strengthen the region's internal medical support system.
The leadership change also extends to information technology and communications. The Head of the IT Division of Polda Jambi, Kombes Pol. Muhammad Ali Hadinur, S.I.K., has been reassigned as an analytical advisor in the field of communication and IT at Polri under the 2026 fiscal development program.
He is succeeded by Kombes Pol. Sony Sanjaya, S.I.K., who previously served at the National Police's International Relations Division (Divhubinter Polri).This rotation is part of Polri's broader digital transformation agenda aimed at building an integrated and modern information and communication system.
In Muaro Jambi and Jambi City, leadership at the operational level has also been reshuffled. AKBP Heri Supriawan, S.I.K., M.H., formerly Chief of Muaro Jambi Police, has been appointed Deputy Director of Traffic (Wadirlantas) of Polda Jambi. His former post is now held by AKBP Bayu Noormansyah, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., from the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri).
Meanwhile, the Chief of Jambi City Police (Kapolresta Jambi), Kombes Pol. Boy Sutan Binanga Siregar, S.I.K., M.H., has been reassigned as Commander of the Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) of the South Kalimantan Regional Police. His successor is Kombes Pol. Anang Herlambang, S.I.K., M.M., from the Intelligence and Security Agency (Baintelkam Polri).In another Brimob-related rotation, the former Commander of Brimob Polda Jambi, Kombes Pol. Muhammad Faishal Aris, S.I.K., M.M., has been reassigned as Technical Officer Jibom Madya II at the Korps Brimob Polri. His position is now filled by Kombes Pol. Budi Hidayat, S.I.K., from the technical unit of the KBR division.
The Regional Police Chief of Jambi, Inspector General Pol. Krisno H. Siregar, through his spokesperson Kombes Pol. Erlan Munaji, stated that the personnel rotation is part of the continuous organizational development within Polri.
"Mutasi jabatan merupakan bagian dari proses pembinaan sumber daya manusia di lingkungan Polri. Selain sebagai bentuk penghargaan atas dedikasi personel, mutasi juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme, memperkuat organisasi, serta menjawab tantangan tugas yang semakin dinamis," said Kombes Pol. Erlan Munaji.He added that the rotation is intended to refresh organizational dynamics and improve operational efficiency within Polda Jambi. Outgoing officials were also thanked for their dedication, while newly appointed officers were urged to adapt quickly and ensure the continuity of ongoing programs.
In closing, Erlan Munaji emphasized expectations that all newly appointed leaders will strengthen internal cohesion and deliver increasingly precise, professional, and community-oriented policing services in Jambi Province.
