Kasat Narkoba Polres Labuhan Batu Supports Schoolyard Renovation at SD Negeri 118194

LABUHANBATU UTARA | INDATANEWS.COM - The commitment of the Labuhan Batu Police (Polres Labuhan Batu) to supporting the education sector has once again been demonstrated. The Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit (Kasat Narkoba) of Polres Labuhan Batu, AKP Hardiyanto SH MH, provided soil filling materials to improve the condition of the schoolyard at SD Negeri 118194, located in Dusun Pulo Gambut I, Desa Sukarame Baru, Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu, Aek Kanopan, Labuhanbatu Utara Regency.

The assistance was provided after AKP Hardiyanto learned that the schoolyard was frequently flooded during rainfall, causing the area to become muddy and difficult to use. The condition was considered to have affected the learning process as well as the comfort of students and teachers.

In addition to carrying out his duties in combating drug abuse, AKP Hardiyanto, together with personnel from the Sat Narkoba Polres Labuhan Batu, continues to demonstrate social responsibility in various sectors of society, particularly in the field of education.

Support for Education Through Soil Filling Assistance

After receiving information about the needs of SD Negeri 118194 Pulo Gambut I, AKP Hardiyanto immediately contacted the school principal, Romauli Samosir SPd. He then arranged the delivery of soil filling materials amounting to three truckloads to improve the condition of the schoolyard.

The assistance was directly received by Romauli Samosir at the school premises. The materials provided are expected to help make the schoolyard more functional and accessible, especially during the rainy season.

AKP Hardiyanto stated that the assistance was an expression of the police's concern for the education sector. According to him, elementary schools play a vital role in building a person's basic abilities before continuing their education to higher levels.

"From a philosophical and logical perspective, no one can continue to secondary education or university without first completing elementary education. It was in elementary school that I learned how to read and write. Therefore, I should be grateful and support elementary schools that need assistance," said Hardiyanto, who is also known as Bang Didot.

He further explained that providing soil filling materials was also a form of appreciation for teachers who have dedicated themselves to sharing knowledge and shaping the next generation.

"I apologize to the principal of SD Negeri 118194, Romauli Samosir SPd, because this is only what I am currently able to provide," he said.
