MURI RECORD BROKEN: Indosat’s reliable network enabled Dave Hendrik and Iwet Ramadhan to livestream 11 hours nonstop on TikTok during their homecoming.

JAKARTA | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) has once again demonstrated the strength of its network during the homecoming season. Thanks to a stable connection, duo Dave Hendrik and Iwet Ramadhan set a MURI world record for the longest uninterrupted TikTok livestream during a homebound journey—streaming nonstop for 11 hours from Jakarta to Yogyakarta as part of the #DVET program, "On the Way to a Better Self."

Stable Livestream: A Virtual Homecoming Without Interruptions

Dave and Iwet invited their followers to join them virtually on their journey home. Throughout the drive, they shared casual conversations, travel stories, and Ramadan reflections, featuring special guests such as Dr. Dion Haryadi, Lutfi Afansyah, Boah Sartika, Dr. Gian Pratama, and Ust. Alfie. The livestream offered light-hearted insights into the journey toward self-improvement.

"It was fantastic to take our followers along virtually on this homecoming. From departure until just before Yogyakarta, everything ran smoothly—it felt like a long journey shared with millions of people," said Dave Hendrik.

Indosat: Network Ready for Maximum Load

The livestream's success is closely tied to Indosat's network preparations. As part of the Ekspedisi Jaringan Andal program, key homecoming routes were tested to ensure customers enjoy stable connections for navigation, family communication, digital transactions, and entertainment.

The network was optimized across more than 75 main routes and 790 points of interest, including highway interchanges, rest areas, train stations, terminals, and popular destinations. Network quality was monitored 24/7 to guarantee stability throughout the homecoming season. During the livestream, the average speed measured 90 Mbps, and even at the weakest points, connections maintained around 15 Mbps—enough for a smooth stream.

Commitment to a Better Digital Homecoming

Vikram Sinha, CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, highlighted that homecoming is a peak moment for network performance.

"Millions travel simultaneously, and our customers want to stay connected with family, share moments, navigate, and enjoy a seamless journey," he said.

"We ensure the Indosat network is reliable along the entire route. For us, better connectivity is not just a promise—it's a real experience for our customers, kilometer by kilometer."

Preparations during Ramadan and Idulfitri are part of the four pillars of the #LebihBaikIndosat commitment: reliable network, relevant technology, digital protection, and social engagement. The Ekspedisi Jaringan Andal program demonstrates that connectivity remains stable across the journey.

The MURI record proves that digital homecoming is not just about covering distances—it's about sharing stories, sending greetings to loved ones, and enjoying every kilometer along the way. (IDNC)
