ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – The Aceh Tengah Police held a joint zikir (remembrance of God) and prayer gathering on Saturday afternoon (June 13, 2026) to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Bhayangkara Day. The solemn religious event took place at Babut Taqwa Mosque within the Aceh Tengah Police compound (Aspol Polres Aceh Tengah), emphasizing not only ceremonial observance but also spiritual values, unity, and social responsibility.
The event was officially opened by Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, accompanied by the Chairperson of Bhayangkari Aceh Tengah, Ny. Vifa Taufiq, Deputy Police Chief Kompol Samsir, S.H., as well as senior officers, personnel, Bhayangkari members, and police staff. Notably, around 20 orphans from the Nooerdin Foundation were also invited to attend.
A reflective atmosphere filled the mosque from the outset as Aipda Razali recited verses from the Holy Qur'an. His calm and melodious recitation set a contemplative tone, deepening the spiritual focus of all attendees.

He urged police members to uphold religious values as the basis of their responsibilities in protecting, serving, and safeguarding the community. Professionalism, humanity, and integrity, he added, must remain central in every aspect of policing.
The initiative reflected the police force's broader role beyond law enforcement—serving as an integral part of society that actively engages in humanitarian efforts and builds closer ties with the community.

In closing, the event highlighted the growing demands faced by law enforcement, which require not only technical competence but also strong moral and spiritual resilience. In line with the "Polri Presisi" vision, the police aim to continuously improve service quality and public trust.
Through this observance, the Aceh Tengah Police reaffirmed their commitment to serve not only as a security institution but also as a humane and spiritually responsible force within society. (IDNC)
