BELAWAN | INDATANEWS.COM - Pelindo Regional I continues to strengthen its relationship with communities within its operational area by coordinating the technical planning and distribution of sacrificial animals (Qurban) for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. As part of this initiative, the company invited 33 representatives of Badan Kemakmuran Masjid (BKM) from Belawan and surrounding areas to its Regional I office.
The coordination meeting was held to ensure that the distribution of Qurban livestock is carried out in an orderly, transparent, and targeted manner. The sacrificial animals distributed originate from the Pelindo Group, reflecting the company's commitment to social responsibility during the Islamic holy celebration.
Pelindo Regional I Manager of Legal and Public Relations, Fadillah Haryono, emphasized that Qurban distribution is an integral part of the company's annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

"Through this initiative, we aim to ensure that the distribution of sacrificial animals is conducted in an orderly and transparent manner, providing broad benefits to communities in need. The presence of BKM representatives is also essential to coordinate a smooth distribution process," said Fadillah.
Strengthening Collaboration with Local Mosques in Belawan
Pelindo Regional I highlights the importance of collaboration with BKM mosque committees as key partners in on-the-ground distribution. Their involvement is expected to ensure a more effective and equitable allocation of Qurban livestock to beneficiaries.
Fadillah further stated that Pelindo Regional I, together with the Pelindo Group, remains committed to fostering a spirit of sharing and solidarity through various social programs, particularly for communities in Belawan and its surrounding areas.
