IMPROVING SERVICES AT BANDAR DELI TERMINAL: Executive General Manager of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1 Belawan Branch, Yusrizal, emphasized the importance of building a shared understanding among all stakeholders regarding passenger service standards to ensure optimal services and greater comfort for travelers at Bandar Deli Terminal.

Participants included the Belawan Port Authority and Harbormaster Office (KSOP), PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero), the Health Quarantine Office, the North Sumatra Center for Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine, the Belawan Customs and Excise Office (KPPBC), and the Belawan Port Police.

The participation of all relevant institutions reflects their shared commitment to strengthening coordination and continuously improving passenger services at Bandar Deli Terminal. Strong cross-sector collaboration is considered an essential component in ensuring smooth port operations, particularly amid increasing public mobility through sea transportation.

Through intensive coordination, all stakeholders are expected to carry out their responsibilities in supervision, security, health services, quarantine, and customs clearance in an integrated manner. This collaboration is also expected to minimize operational challenges while further improving customer satisfaction at Belawan Port.

Executive General Manager of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1 Belawan Branch, Yusrizal, emphasized that the success of passenger services depends heavily on strong coordination and a shared understanding among all participating institutions.

"Through this socialization program, we hope that all stakeholders will develop a common understanding of passenger service standards so that services at Bandar Deli Terminal can operate optimally while providing greater comfort for travelers," Yusrizal said.
