Precision Patrol Secures Public Order in Takengon

ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - The Sat Samapta Unit of the Aceh Tengah Police has strengthened efforts to maintain security and public order (Harkamtibmas) by conducting Precision Pioneer Patrols (Patroli Perintis Presisi) across several strategic areas in Takengon City on Saturday night, August 1, 2026.

The patrol focused on a number of vital facilities and locations with high levels of community activity. The operation was aimed at preventing potential security disruptions at an early stage while providing a sense of safety for residents who were still carrying out their nighttime activities.

The Aceh Tengah Police Sat Samapta personnel began the patrol at 8:00 p.m. WIB and visited several locations, including the fuel station on Jalan Lintang, Bank Aceh Kota, Toko Mudin wholesale store, and the Old Bus Terminal. The police presence at these locations served as a preventive measure against potential criminal acts and disturbances to public order.

Monitoring Vital Facilities and Engaging With Residents

During the patrol, officers not only monitored security conditions but also held direct conversations with members of the community. Police personnel interacted with residents and youth groups who were still gathering and conducting activities during the evening hours.

Through these interactions, officers encouraged the public to work together in maintaining a safe and orderly environment. Teenagers were also reminded to avoid activities that could disturb public tranquility or pose risks to themselves and others.

The patrol activity reflects the direct presence of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) among the community, particularly in creating a safe atmosphere for residents of Takengon during their nighttime activities.

Aceh Tengah Police Strengthens Preventive Security Measures

Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, S.I.K., M.H., through Sat Samapta Unit Head IPTU Misbah, stated that the Precision Patrol is an important preventive measure to anticipate potential disturbances to security and public order.

"Through the presence of officers in the field, we hope the community feels safer and more comfortable while carrying out their activities, and that public security conditions remain stable," he said.

Iptu Misbah explained that the patrols also aim to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community. Through the regular presence of officers in public spaces, public trust is expected to grow while encouraging greater participation from residents in maintaining security within their surroundings.

The Precision Pioneer Patrol is part of the Aceh Tengah Police's commitment to providing protection, guidance, and services to the community. Through these routine activities, the police continue working to create a safe and comfortable environment for all residents.

Regular Patrols Maintain Stable Security Conditions

During the patrol operation, Sat Samapta Polres Aceh Tengah officers found no significant security disturbances. The entire activity was carried out safely, orderly, and smoothly.
