MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM - Pertamina Patra Niaga has adjusted the prices of its Bright Gas product, with the new rates taking effect on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The measure is part of the company's regular evaluation process, taking into account market developments and applicable pricing mechanisms.
Through this adjustment, the selling prices of Bright Gas have been reduced in several areas within the Northern Sumatra Regional Area (Sumbagut). Pertamina Patra Niaga said the move is aimed at making non-subsidized LPG products more competitive while providing added value for Bright Gas consumers.The Area Manager for Communication, Relations, and CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw, explained that the price review is part of the company's strategy to maintain a balance between market conditions and public needs.

"With this price adjustment, people in the Sumbagut region can obtain Bright Gas with better value for money. At the same time, Pertamina remains committed to ensuring product quality and the reliability of distribution services for non-subsidized LPG," Fahrougi said.
Following the latest price adjustment, the price of Bright Gas 12 kilograms has decreased from Rp230,000 per cylinder to Rp222,000 per cylinder, representing a reduction of Rp8,000. Meanwhile, the price of Bright Gas 5.5 kilograms has been lowered from Rp111,000 per cylinder to Rp107,000 per cylinder, a decrease of Rp4,000.The stated prices are Bright Gas agent selling prices and are effective from July 14, 2026, throughout the Sumbagut Regional Area.
In addition to other areas within Sumbagut, Pertamina Patra Niaga has also implemented a special price adjustment for Bright Gas in the Batam Free Trade Zone (FTZ) area.
In Batam FTZ, the price of Bright Gas 12 kilograms has been reduced from Rp208,000 per cylinder to Rp200,000 per cylinder. The reduction amounts to Rp8,000 per cylinder.Meanwhile, the price of Bright Gas 5.5 kilograms has been adjusted from Rp100,000 per cylinder to Rp97,000 per cylinder, representing a decrease of Rp3,000.
Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that the price changes continue to be implemented by considering product quality, consumer safety, and the sustainability of non-subsidized LPG distribution systems.
Fahrougi emphasized that Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut continues to guarantee the availability of Bright Gas throughout its operational areas. The company also ensures that consumers can access non-subsidized LPG products through official Pertamina distribution networks.
