PREPARATIONS FOR THE KORMI MUSKAB: The KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee holds a gathering with INORGA management boards and provides updates on preparations for the 2026 KORMI Labuhanbatu Muskab. The event was held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Secretariat of the KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee at the Binaraga Stadium Complex in Rantauprapat.

LABUHANBATU | INDATANEWS.COM - The Caretaker Committee of the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) of Labuhanbatu Regency held a gathering with the management boards of the Induk Organisasi Olahraga (INORGA), or parent sports organizations, while providing updates on preparations for the 2026 KORMI Labuhanbatu Musyawarah Kabupaten (MUSKAB).

The event was held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Secretariat of the KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee at the Binaraga Stadium Sports Complex in Rantauprapat. The meeting was part of the implementation of the decision issued by KORMI North Sumatra, Number 042/SK/KORMISU/VIII/2026, concerning the establishment of the KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee.

The KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee invited the registered chairpersons of INORGA to discuss various matters related to preparations for the Muskab. In addition to strengthening relations among the organizations' management boards, the meeting also served as a forum for communicating organizational requirements and regulations that must be fulfilled by each INORGA.

The committee hopes the gathering and information session will strengthen coordination among all parties involved so that the 2026 KORMI Labuhanbatu Muskab can be conducted in an orderly and transparent manner and in accordance with organizational regulations.

17 INORGA to Participate in Muskab

KORMI Labuhanbatu currently has a total of 18 INORGA registered at the regency level. They include APPBSI, IOSKI, PERSOCCI, FOKBI, ASIAFI, ADYTI, IESPA, ASKI, FAI, KOSTI, AMDI, PORSI, POGTI, FKTI, PERTONS, PORPI and IDCA.

Although 18 INORGA are registered in Labuhanbatu, the committee has determined that 17 organizations will participate in the Muskab. One organization, PERSOCCI, is not eligible to participate because it has not yet been registered with KORMI North Sumatra.

Chairman of the KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee Irwan explained the provision during the meeting with the INORGA management boards. He was accompanied by KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee member Yarham Dalimunthe.

"Only 17 INORGA will be admitted as participants in the Muskab. The reason is that INORGA PERSOCCI has not yet been registered with KORMI North Sumatra," Caretaker Committee Chairman Irwan said, accompanied by Yarham Dalimunthe.

During the meeting, the committee also asked the 17 participating INORGA to submit their complete administrative documents to the Secretariat of the KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee as soon as possible.

The required documents include a valid decree (SK) issued by each INORGA and the management structure of each organization. The committee set September 19, 2026, as the deadline for submitting the administrative documents.

"The deadline is one week, until September 19," he said.

The committee stipulated that the chairperson and secretary of each INORGA would be responsible for submitting the administrative documents. After handing over the documents, both officials must also sign a form prepared by the committee.

The administrative requirements are an important part of preparations for the Muskab. The committee therefore urged all INORGA to submit the required documents on time so that each stage of the Muskab preparations can proceed without administrative obstacles.

INORGA Urged to Update Management Structures

In addition to requiring complete documentation, the committee reminded INORGA whose management terms have expired or need to be extended to immediately complete the renewal of their management structures.

INORGA management boards facing issues concerning the validity of their terms of office were urged to coordinate with their respective higher-level organizations. The step must be taken promptly to ensure that the organizations' administrative status remains compliant with applicable regulations.

The KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee considers the completeness of administrative documents and the legitimacy of management structures to be important components in preparing Muskab participants. Therefore, all INORGA were urged not to delay updating their organizational documents.

In addition to preparing the 17 INORGA that meet the requirements to participate in the Muskab, the KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee is also opening communication channels for other INORGA that have already been established and are conducting community sports activities in Labuhanbatu but have not yet registered with KORMI Labuhanbatu.

KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee member Yarham Dalimunthe said the committee would invite these organizations to the secretariat to strengthen communication and mutual relations.

New INORGA to Receive Observer Status

Yarham said the KORMI Labuhanbatu Caretaker Committee wanted to ensure that all community sports organizations already operating in the region had an opportunity to communicate with the KORMI management.

"We will invite them to the secretariat. We want to maintain contact with them and make it clear that they are part of the KORMI Labuhanbatu family. However, at the upcoming second Muskab, they will only have observer status," he said.

Through this approach, the committee continues to provide unregistered INORGA with an opportunity to learn more about the organizational structure and the Muskab process. However, they will not yet receive participant status in the upcoming Muskab.

The gathering and information session are intended to serve as an initial step toward establishing a shared understanding among all INORGA management boards and supporting the success of the 2026 KORMI Labuhanbatu Muskab.

The committee also called on all parties involved to support each stage of the preparations. Coordination between the Caretaker Committee and INORGA is considered important to ensure that administrative procedures, verification of management structures and, ultimately, the implementation of the Muskab are carried out in accordance with organizational regulations.

Through preparations initiated at an early stage, KORMI Labuhanbatu aims to conduct the Muskab in an orderly manner and produce a management board capable of strengthening the promotion and development of community sports in Labuhanbatu Regency. (IDNC)
