TANJUNG UBAN | INDATANEWS.COMAs part of the Unit Development Training for the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2026, the Patrol Ship Unit (Satrol) of Kodaeral IV held a Military Swimming Championship on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Tirto Sagoro-04 Military Swimming Pool in Tanjung Uban.

The event brought together all units under the command of Satrol Kodaeral IV. The competition aimed to strengthen the physical fitness, endurance, and professionalism of personnel in supporting maritime operations. Two main disciplines were contested: military relay swimming and the military poncho push.

The activities were conducted with high enthusiasm and strict adherence to sportsmanship principles. Beyond competition, the event also served as a physical training platform and a means of strengthening solidarity among units.

KRI Bubara-858 Dominates Relay Event

In the military relay swimming category, KRI Bubara-858 delivered an outstanding performance to secure first place. KAL Marapas finished second, while KRI Sigurot-864 took third place.

In the poncho push discipline, Patkamla claimed first place. KRI Bubara-858 continued its strong performance by securing second place, followed by KRI Krait-827 in third position. With consistent results across both events, KRI Bubara-858 was crowned the overall champion of the competition.

Through this event, Satrol Kodaeral IV hopes to further enhance the physical and mental readiness of its personnel in facing maritime operational challenges, while maintaining their professionalism as frontline defenders of Indonesia's sea sovereignty. (IDNC)
