ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Aceh Tengah Police has successfully solved a motorcycle theft case (locally known as Curanmor) that occurred in Dusun Weh Osop, Kampung Lut Jaya, Rusip Antara District, Aceh Tengah Regency. During the investigation, officers arrested a 27-year-old man identified by the initials SN from Silih Nara District in the Celala area.
Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, through Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Abdul Mufakhir, stated that the police immediately responded after receiving a public report regarding the missing motorcycle."Following the report, the criminal investigation team launched intensive inquiries and successfully identified and apprehended the suspect," AKP Abdul Mufakhir said on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

The incident took place on Friday, May 16, 2025, at around 03:00 WIB. The victim discovered that their motorcycle had gone missing during an early morning check.
The case was later reported to the police and officially registered under Police Report Number LP/B/69/V/2026/SPKT/Polres Aceh Tengah/Polda Aceh dated May 12, 2026.

During the arrest, police also seized a suspected stolen vehicle, a red Yamaha motorcycle with license plate BK 4781 PAO.
The suspect and evidence were subsequently taken to the Aceh Tengah Police Headquarters for further interrogation and investigation.Legal Proceedings Underway
