CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW PROSECUTOR CHIEF’S INAUGURATION: Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf congratulates Teuku Rahmadsyah on his appointment as head of the Aceh Prosecutor’s Office and hopes for stronger cooperation in law enforcement and Aceh’s development.

BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM - Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf has congratulated Teuku Rahmadsyah on his appointment as the new Head of the Aceh Provincial Prosecutor's Office. Muzakir Manaf expressed hope that the new prosecutor chief's assumption of office would strengthen law enforcement in Aceh while also fostering cooperation between the Aceh Prosecutor's Office and the provincial government in advancing regional development.

"He has assumed an honorable responsibility as a representative of law enforcement. Let us work together to develop Aceh," Muzakir Manaf said on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in Banda Aceh, as conveyed by Aceh Government spokesman Nurlis Effendi.

Rahmadsyah was sworn in on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, along with 33 other officials within the Attorney General's Office by the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, ST Burhanuddin, at a ceremony held in the hall on the 11th floor of the main building of the Attorney General's Office in Jakarta.

The inauguration marked a change in leadership at the Aceh Prosecutor's Office. Rahmadsyah succeeds Yudi Triadi SH MH, who was subsequently assigned to lead the Center for Management, Tracing and Seizure of Assets at the Asset Recovery Agency.

Muzakir Manaf Appreciates Yudi Triadi's Service

Governor Muzakir Manaf also praised Yudi Triadi's service during his tenure as a law enforcement official in Aceh. According to Muzakir Manaf, Yudi established good communication with the Aceh Government throughout his tenure.

"The governor considers Mr. Yudi to have been highly committed to carrying out his duties as a law enforcement official. He also established good communication with the Aceh Government. For that, the Aceh Government is very grateful," Nurlis said.

Muzakir Manaf emphasized that good communication between the Aceh Government and law enforcement agencies is an important component of effective governance. Therefore, the Aceh Government expressed its appreciation to Yudi for his contribution during his leadership of the Aceh Prosecutor's Office.

The leadership transition also opens new prospects for the Aceh Government to continue coordination and cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office in carrying out law enforcement duties across the province.

Rahmadsyah Understands Aceh's Local Values

Muzakir Manaf is also confident that Teuku Rahmadsyah will bring his own approach to leading the Aceh Prosecutor's Office. Rahmadsyah's background as a native of Aceh is considered one of the factors supporting his understanding of the character of the people and the local values of the region.

"According to the governor, the new head of the Prosecutor's Office is also an Acehnese. Therefore, he naturally has a strong understanding of Aceh's identity and is very familiar with the local values of Aceh," Nurlis said.

The Aceh Government hopes that Rahmadsyah's understanding of the social and cultural conditions of the people of Aceh will serve as an important foundation in carrying out his duties. This understanding is also expected to help strengthen communication with the regional government, the public and regional leaders.

With the new leadership at the Aceh Prosecutor's Office, the government hopes that the law enforcement agenda can be implemented hand in hand with efforts to maintain stability and support regional development.

Support for Synergy Within Forkopimda

In addition to welcoming Rahmadsyah's appointment, Muzakir Manaf also welcomed the instruction from Attorney General ST Burhanuddin to provincial prosecutors' office chiefs to establish close cooperation with members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, known as Forkopimda, in order to maintain regional stability.

According to the Aceh Government, coordination among institutions is highly important in addressing various challenges in the region. Cooperation within Forkopimda can also strengthen communication and coordination between the regional government, law enforcement agencies and other relevant institutions.

"The Aceh Government welcomes this cooperation," he said.

Muzakir Manaf hopes that cooperation among the Aceh Prosecutor's Office, the Aceh Government and the elements of Forkopimda can be maintained on a sustained basis. The cooperation is expected not only to contribute to security stability and law enforcement, but also to create a conducive environment for regional development and public administration.

With the appointment of Teuku Rahmadsyah as head of the Aceh Prosecutor's Office, the Aceh Government now welcomes the new leadership of the law enforcement institution, hoping for stronger communication and more solid cooperation.
