DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM - Deputy Regent of Deli Serdang Lom Lom Suwondo, SS, emphasized the importance of synergy between the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI), the regional government and the community in maintaining security and stability in the region. In his view, cooperation among these three elements not only strengthens regional stability but also contributes to the smooth implementation of development programs and public services.
Lom Lom made the statement during a thanksgiving service and joint prayer marking the first anniversary of Brigif TP-36/HM and its subordinate YTP units, together with Yonif TP 852/ABY, at the Yonif TP 852/ABY headquarters in Pantai Labu District on Saturday, August 15, 2026.Lom Lom attended the event alongside TP PKK Staff Advisor Asniar Lom Lom Suwondo. On the occasion, he congratulated Brigif TP-36/HM and its subordinate YTP units on completing one year of service and dedication to the nation and state.
"On behalf of the Deli Serdang Regency Government, I congratulate Brigif TP-36/HM and all of its subordinate YTP units on their first anniversary. May this anniversary serve as an opportunity for reflection while further strengthening the spirit of service to the nation and state," he said.In his view, the TNI plays a strategic role in maintaining regional stability. However, creating a safe and stable environment also requires the support of the regional government and the active participation of the community.
"The presence and synergy between the TNI, regional government and community help maintain security and stability in the region. Therefore, the spirit of togetherness that we have built must continue to be maintained and strengthened," he said.He expressed hope that relations between TNI units and the Deli Serdang Government would become even closer in the future. Through good communication and coordination, various problems affecting the community could be addressed jointly and more quickly.
Lom Lom also emphasized that maintaining security would have a positive impact on various development programs. The community needs a sense of security to carry out its social and economic activities. At the same time, the government requires stable regional conditions to implement development programs optimally.Therefore, he called on all parties to preserve the spirit of togetherness that has been built so far. The regional government, TNI and community each have their own responsibilities, which complement one another in maintaining security and public order in Deli Serdang.
He expressed hope that the first year of Brigif TP-36/HM would provide a foundation for further improvements in the execution of its duties in the future. At the same time, he urged all units to maintain solidarity, continue developing their capabilities and consistently demonstrate professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities.

May they always become more united, professional and appreciated by the community," he said.According to Lom Lom, the presence of soldiers among the community is not limited solely to carrying out defense and security duties. Good interaction with the public can also strengthen public trust while creating opportunities to jointly resolve various problems in the region.
He expressed hope that the spirit of service that has defined Brigif TP-36/HM during its first year would continue to develop. Through discipline, professionalism and concern for the community, TNI units should be able to make a positive contribution to the region.
Earlier, Commander of Brigif TP-36/Harajon Marpitu, Infantry Colonel Sunardi, said the first anniversary was an important moment for the units to evaluate the implementation of their duties over the past year. At the same time, the anniversary provided an opportunity to further strengthen the soldiers' solidarity and professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities.
Such an evaluation is necessary so that the experience gained during the year of service can serve as a basis for improvement. In this way, Brigif TP-36/HM and the YTP units can further enhance their operational readiness and capabilities for future assignments.A similar view was expressed by Chief of Staff of Kodam I/Bukit Barisan, TNI Brigadier General Deki Santoso Pattinaya. He reminded all soldiers to continue maintaining discipline, professionalism and solidarity. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining good relations with the regional government and the community.
