A Moment for Evaluation and Self-Reflection

In his address, Rear Admiral TNI Berkat Widjanarko emphasized that commemorating the 81st anniversary of the Indonesian Navy was not merely a ceremonial occasion. Rather, the anniversary served as a reminder of the Indonesian Navy's long history of service and dedication, while also providing an opportunity to evaluate and reflect on the implementation of its duties to date.

"Eighty-one years is a long journey marked by dedication, struggle and sacrifice. Let us use this moment as encouragement to continue providing our best service to the nation and state," the Kodaeral IV commander said.

He also called on all Kodaeral IV personnel to draw motivation from the Indonesian Navy's long history to continuously improve the quality of their service. Such a spirit, he said, was essential in responding to changes in the strategic environment and the increasingly complex demands of their duties.

The Kodaeral IV commander underscored the importance of professionalism, discipline, loyalty, integrity and readiness for every member of the personnel. He urged military personnel and civilian employees at Kodaeral IV to continuously enhance their capabilities and adapt to various changes that could affect the implementation of their duties.

Beyond professional capabilities and operational readiness, all personnel were also expected to uphold the good name and honor of the Indonesian Navy. This, he said, was an essential part of every Navy member's responsibility in carrying out their duties in service to the nation and state.
