JAMBI | INDATANEWS.COM - The Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi) shooting team has once again achieved an outstanding accomplishment on the national stage. Competing in the Kapolri Cup 2026, held as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day celebrations, the Polda Jambi delegation secured second place in the Men's Police Officers (Polki) Team Event of the 25-Meter Precision Pistol category.
The competition took place at the Hoegeng Imam Santoso Shooting Range of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) in Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java. Police personnel representing Regional Police Departments (Polda) from across Indonesia competed in both individual and team events.
The achievement reflects the high standard of marksmanship among Polda Jambi personnel and demonstrates the effectiveness of the department's continuous training and development programs. It also marks a significant milestone for Polda Jambi during the commemoration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day.
The Polda Jambi delegation fielded seven of its top shooters: Ipda Agus Sukron, Ipda Muhammad Fauzan, Aipda Heriyanto, Bripka Amril, Brigpol Miranti Silaban, Brigpol Rositanur, and Briptu Indriyana. Each competitor delivered an impressive performance, successfully competing against participants from Regional Police Departments throughout Indonesia.

The Polda Jambi men's Polki team, consisting of Ipda Agus Sukron, Ipda Muhammad Fauzan, and Aipda Heriyanto, claimed second place among 72 teams in the Men's Police Officers Team Event. The result places Polda Jambi among the top-performing delegations at one of Indonesia's most prestigious national police shooting championships.
Meanwhile, the Polda Jambi Women's Police (Polwan) team, comprising Brigpol Miranti Silaban, Brigpol Rositanur, and Briptu Indriyana, also delivered a solid performance by finishing 24th out of 40 participating teams.
In the individual standings, Polda Jambi shooters also posted notable achievements. In the First Officer (Perwira Pertama/Pama) category, Ipda Agus Sukron finished fifth with 88.00 points among 124 participants, while Ipda Muhammad Fauzan secured sixth place with 87.01 points.
In the Non-Commissioned Officer (Bintara/Tamtama/BA-TA) category, Aipda Heriyanto scored 89.01 points to finish sixth among 195 competitors. Bripka Amril earned 70.00 points and placed 155th.
The women officers also recorded commendable results. Briptu Indriyana finished 16th with 85.00 points among 150 participants. Brigpol Miranti Silaban placed 107th with 69.00 points, while Brigpol Rositanur ranked 110th with 67.00 points among 151 competitors.
Polda Jambi's success extended beyond the individual and team competitions. Four shooters advanced to the Duel Plate (Shoot-Out) round: Ipda Agus Sukron, Ipda Muhammad Fauzan, Aipda Heriyanto, and Briptu Indriyana.
Ipda Agus Sukron and Ipda Muhammad Fauzan progressed to the Round of 16, while Aipda Heriyanto and Briptu Indriyana also secured places among the tournament's top 16 competitors.
These accomplishments demonstrate the consistency and competitiveness of Polda Jambi's shooting team in events that demand exceptional precision, speed, and accuracy in firearms handling.
