DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM - The Deli Serdang Regency Government, through the Integrated Team for the Optimization of Regional Own-Source Revenue (OPAD), has inspected the tax and levy obligations as well as business licenses of companies operating in the Cemara Asri residential and commercial area in Percut Sei Tuan District. The inspection was conducted on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
The measure is part of the Deli Serdang Regency Government's efforts to optimize Regional Own-Source Revenue (PAD) while ensuring that all business activities are carried out properly, lawfully, and in accordance with applicable regulations.The integrated team visited several businesses directly in the area. The inspection was not limited to business owners' obligations to pay taxes and regional levies, but also covered the completeness of business licenses and compliance with relevant regulations.
The inspection targeted around 100 businesses. The Deli Serdang Regency Government deployed 17 teams consisting of personnel from various agencies and relevant authorities. If any outstanding obligations were identified, the officers explained the relevant requirements to the business owners as well as the steps needed to fulfill them.
This approach demonstrates that, alongside enforcement, the Deli Serdang Regency Government is also focusing on providing guidance and assistance to business owners. The regional government seeks to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about the importance of fulfilling regional obligations and maintaining complete documentation as required by law."We are here to ensure that business activities are carried out properly, lawfully, and in accordance with regulations," he added.
