JAKARTA | INDATANEWS.COM - Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower has opened the administrative selection process for prospective ad hoc judges at the Industrial Relations Court (Pengadilan Hubungan Industrial, PHI) for 2026. Applications are open from 9 October to 22 November 2026. The process offers eligible members of the public an opportunity to contribute to the resolution of employment disputes through service in the industrial relations judiciary.

Indah Anggoro Putri, Director General of Industrial Relations and Workers' Social Security at the Ministry of Manpower, said the selection process was open to anyone who met the stipulated requirements. She urged prospective applicants to review all eligibility criteria and procedural steps carefully before submitting their applications.

"The opening of this selection process gives eligible individuals the opportunity to participate in the selection of prospective ad hoc judges at the Industrial Relations Court," Indah said, according to a press release issued by the ministry's Press and Public Relations Division on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.

The announcement marks an important step towards enabling qualified members of the public to compete for positions as future ad hoc judges at the PHI. Their responsibilities include handling industrial relations disputes within their respective jurisdictions and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Administrative Requirements Form the First Stage

The Ministry of Manpower reminded applicants to check all administrative requirements carefully before submitting their documents. Preparing a complete and accurate application is essential to ensure that the submitted documents comply with the applicable requirements.

Prospective applicants must ensure that all required documents are available and complete in accordance with the official checklist. They should also read all the provisions carefully to avoid missing documents that could affect the administrative assessment of their applications.

The administrative assessment is the first stage of the selection process for prospective ad hoc judges at the PHI. Applicants should therefore pay particular attention to the details set out in the official announcement, including the documents they must prepare and the procedural steps they must follow.

Indah reiterated the importance of complying with the application rules. She urged prospective applicants not only to keep track of the deadline but also to ensure that they meet all the requirements before submitting their documents.

"Applicants should ensure that all administrative requirements have been met and that registration is completed in accordance with the applicable provisions," she said.

Applications Close on 22 November 2026

The Ministry of Manpower has set 9 October to 22 November 2026 as the period for the administrative selection process. Given the deadline, prospective applicants should prepare their documents in good time and complete the required application procedures within the specified period.

Those intending to apply should not leave the assessment of their eligibility until shortly before the deadline. Preparing early gives applicants sufficient time to check their documents for completeness and ensure that all administrative steps have been carried out correctly.

Applicants should also rely exclusively on official information when seeking accurate guidance on the eligibility criteria and application procedures. This will help prevent misunderstandings about the requirements and errors when submitting documents.
