MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM - The Family Welfare Empowerment Team (TP PKK) of Deli Serdang Regency continues its efforts to strengthen the role and competence of its cadres in supporting the implementation of priority government programs. This initiative was carried out through the participation of TP PKK Deli Serdang Chairperson, Ny Jelita Asri Ludin Tambunan, together with the First Expert of TP PKK Deli Serdang, Ny Asniar Lom Lom Suwondo, in the 2026 Technical Guidance Program (Bimbingan Teknis/Bimtek) organized by the TP PKK of North Sumatra Province along with regencies and cities across North Sumatra.
The event, themed "TP PKK Synergy in Supporting Priority Government Programs and Family Welfare," was officially opened on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Grand City Hall Medan. The opening ceremony was led by the Chairperson of TP PKK North Sumatra Province, Ny Kahiyang Ayu, and attended by TP PKK representatives from all regencies and cities throughout North Sumatra.
The participation of TP PKK Deli Serdang in the activity is part of efforts to improve coordination among cadres while strengthening their capabilities in implementing the ten core PKK programs. Through the training, participants received insights into program strategies, institutional strengthening, and improving the quality of services for families and communities.
In her speech, Chairperson of TP PKK North Sumatra, Kahiyang Ayu, expressed her appreciation for the presence of all participants at the Bimtek event. She emphasized that improving cadre competence is a key factor in enabling TP PKK to carry out its role as a strategic government partner effectively.
"PKK is a working partner of the government in every aspect, whether at the regency, city, or provincial level. Our vision is to continue developing and improving the regions we love," she said.Kahiyang Ayu expressed hope that the Bimtek would serve as a platform for cadres to expand their knowledge, exchange experiences, and deepen their understanding of implementing PKK programs in their respective regions.
She also encouraged participants to utilize the development of digital technology to support more effective organizational management. One of the digital systems introduced was Si PANDA, which can assist in the reporting process and implementation of PKK programs so they can be carried out optimally."We hope that the knowledge provided during this Bimtek can be absorbed as comprehensively as possible and implemented in each respective region," she added.
The Chairperson of the Bimtek Organizing Committee, who also serves as Head of the Family Character Building Division of TP PKK North Sumatra, Cut Rizki Amaliyah, explained that the activity carried several strategic objectives. The Bimtek serves as a means to improve cadre abilities in understanding and implementing the ten core PKK programs.
In addition, the activity strengthens understanding of the duties of each working group (Pokja), from Pokja I to Pokja IV. With better understanding, TP PKK structures are expected to be able to build a high-quality, progressive, and independent organization."This Bimtek aims to improve the capabilities of PKK cadres regarding the ten core programs, strengthen understanding of the duties of Pokja I to Pokja IV, and create a shared perspective in building a high-quality, progressive, and independent TP PKK," Cut Rizki Amaliyah explained.
The 2026 TP PKK Bimtek was held for three days, from Tuesday, July 21, 2026, until Thursday, July 23, 2026. Participants included TP PKK chairpersons from regencies and cities, expert teams, secretaries, and Pokja I to Pokja IV leaders from all regions in North Sumatra.
To deepen the training materials, several speakers from various professional fields were invited. The speakers included representatives from the Directorate General of Village Administration at the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, regional agencies of the North Sumatra Provincial Government, TP PKK North Sumatra, as well as experts and motivational trainers.
Through this activity, TP PKK structures at the provincial, regency, and city levels are expected to further strengthen cooperation with the government in promoting family welfare. Strengthening cadre competencies is also considered an important step to ensure various PKK programs are implemented effectively and provide direct benefits to the community.The participation of TP PKK Deli Serdang in the Bimtek activity demonstrates the organization's commitment to improving the quality of cadre resources and strengthening its contribution to regional development through family empowerment programs.
