MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Democratic Party of North Sumatra paid an official visit to the High Prosecutor's Office of North Sumatra to strengthen political and legal collaboration. The meeting took place on Wednesday, April 7, 2026, at the Cipta Kerta Hall, 3rd Floor, High Prosecutor's Office, Jalan Jenderal AH Nasution, Medan, North Sumatra.
Delegation Led by Muhammad Lokot NasutionThe delegation was headed by Muhammad Lokot Nasution, Chairman of the DPD of the Democratic Party of North Sumatra. Members included the DPD Secretary, the heads of the Democratic Party's DPCs across the province, representatives from the party's legislative factions, and delegates from local government leaders affiliated with the party.

Harli Siregar, High Prosecutor of North Sumatra, accompanied by his deputy Abdullah Noer Denny, assistants, and officials of Grade IV, welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation for the visit.
"We wish to convey our recognition to the DPD of the Democratic Party of North Sumatra, led by Mr. Muhammad Lokot Nasution, who also serves as a member of the Indonesian Parliament representing the North Sumatra electoral district," said Harli.He presented the organizational structure and achievements of the High Prosecutor's Office, emphasizing that such transparency is crucial for public understanding, including political parties. He highlighted that the exchange marked an important step toward fostering partnerships between the judiciary and political institutions to ensure political and legal stability in North Sumatra.
"We are committed to contributing jointly to the development of North Sumatra, especially in creating political and legal stability. Any interaction between the judiciary and political institutions does not constitute interference," Harli added.
Democrats Advocate for Humane Law Enforcement
Muhammad Lokot Nasution expressed pride in the warm reception from the High Prosecutor and his team."This meeting has successfully strengthened and nurtured relations between political parties and the judiciary," he said.
Lokot Nasution reaffirmed the Democratic Party of North Sumatra's full support for fair and humane law enforcement and commended the office's policies.
